The partners behind Market City Caffe Hospitality Group have launched d.vino Italian Food & Wine Bar, right next door to its newly imagined Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. The restaurant, with its casually sophisticated design, offers a fantastic selection of authentic Italian cuisine complemented by a deep, thoughtful selection of domestic and international wines and hand-crafted cocktails. Navarro offers seasonal, regional Italian specialties that honor Italian culinary traditions and sources quality ingredients – cheese, salami, fish, meat, pasta, bread, olive oil – that would do any Italian table proud. There are so many ways to enjoy the food and beverage selections at d.vino! Looking for a light meal or a quick bite before a show? Why not grab a seat at the bar and enjoy something from the iced seafood bar or choose from more than 20 farmhouse and artisanal cheeses and create an individualized platter of formaggi and salumi? Love pizza? Well, that’s strictly served in the lounge area, so grab a seat, order a fabulous glass of Italian wine and watch your pizza being made-to-order in a beautiful mosaic-tiled wood-fired pizza oven.
Looking for something a little more substantial? Sit down at a table and peruse the menu. Seasonal lunch and dinner menus feature a wide selection of antipasti separated into verdure, crudo, carne and pesce. Must-try dishes include Diver Scallop Crudo with Pink Pepper Crust, Pickled Mushrooms and Shallot Gastrique and Stuffed Zucchini and Crab “Meatballs” with Lemon Aioli.
Whether enjoying pasta as your secondi or main course, make sure to sample some of the menu’s most delicious dishes! You won’t want to miss Chitarra Pasta with a spicy Lamb Ragout; a hearty Rigatoni with Italian Sausage, Tomato, Peppers and Onions; or a sensational Lasagnette Carbonara with Pancetta, Parmesan, White Wine and a Poached Organic Egg.
Main courses such as Lemon Roasted Organic Chicken with Rustic “Fries,” Fresh Halibut with Clams, Escarole and White Wine; and Boneless Pork Ribs with White Beans are the essence of simplicity and showcase d.vino’s commitment to quality seasonal ingredients.

At lunch (Monday – Friday) and brunch (Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 A.M.) there are also many easy options that make for a quick and satisfying meal. The lunch menu offers a tempting list of salads, sandwiches and burgers, including the Bolognese served with prosciutto, mortadella, bologna, grilled onion and fontina fondant. Brunch brings omelets, Italian Eggs Benedict and good old-fashioned American fare such as eggs as-you-like-them and pancakes.
Leave room for sensational sweets, including house-made ice creams and sorbets. If all the dining options seem overwhelming, just leave it to d.vino’s family-style prezzo fisso, Italian for fixed price, menus that include a choice of appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert to share.
Vino Veritas
No Italian meal is complete without a great glass of wine (or two or three) and d.vino has it down (literally!) to a science. Enomatic, a state-of-the-art Italian wine system, offers 18 hard-to-find selections that can be tasted in 1 oz., 2 oz., or 5 oz. pours. The Wine Map, an innovative concept that allows guests to experience a flight of regional wines while learning about the origin of each wine that is marked on the Wine Map, is the perfect tool for the wine lover who likes to learn as he sips. An interested customer can taste five Italian wines from Tuscany while a server charts the winery tour on a keepsake map. Delicious and educational! The extensive wine list, compiled by sommelier Nick Hetzel, offers more than 400 varieties of Italian and domestic wines by the bottle.
Apperitivos Italiano
d.vino encourages equal opportunity drinking and offers a spectacular cocktail list dreamed up by master mixologists Livio Lauro and Armando Rosario. Italian classics, such as the Negroni and Garibaldi, make you feel like you are sitting in an outdoor café in a grand piazza in Florence. Innovative creations including the Bruschetta Martini, made with Organic Crop Tomato Vodka and garnished with basil leaves and a cherry tomato, and the Limoncello Margarita, made with Don Julio Reposado tequila, Devito’s Limoncello and mixed with fresh lime juice and simple syrup, are taste sensations that take hand-crafted cocktails to the next level.
La Dolce Vita
Like its sister restaurant next door, Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar, the look of the restaurant was created by celebrated Los Angeles-based, award-winning design firm Ralph Gentile Architects. Sleek yet comfortable with exposed brick walls, tiled and hardwood floors, elegant mirrors and wrought-iron chandeliers, d.vino is perfectly suited to sipping and supping. With an earth-based palate of rich hues of chocolate, tan and golden yellow and a mosaic-tiled wood-fired pizza oven, the restaurant feels grounded and old-world. However whimsical touches, including an authentic Vespa mounted over the bar, keep it kicky and cool. Additionally, d.vino features a “cava” area with barreled ceiling and wine bottles lining the walls, three private dining rooms and a chef’s table.
